We flew from Barcelona to Seville this morning. We are staying in the old Santa Cruz neighborhood. Kenneth’s friend Derrick said Spain has the best churros and chocolate, so we had some for an afternoon snack.
We walked down to the river. We started with the Torre del Oro (Tower of Gold) museum. This was the tower where the Spanish stored the gold they brought back from the Americas. The museum had a history of Spanish exploration.

In a section along the river, there were a bunch of skulls painted by different local artists. It’s weird but kind of good too.
We decided to take a one hour river cruise. It was relaxing and enjoyable. We learned about the bridges and the 1992 World Expo held in Seville.
We ordered rigatoni and pizza for dinner. Both were good, but we should have just shared the pizza.
We love walking around cities in the evening. The lights make all of the buildings even more beautiful than they are in the daylight.
We look forward to two and a half more days in Seville!
